Everyone wants to be satisfied with their new vehicle. Some live up to expectations, others dramatically fall short. Nissan makes every drive a satisfying one in Waterloo, and have the awards to back it up. Nissan is the big winner in the 2017 AutoPacific Vehicle Satisfaction Awards (VSA) with five models landing Best in Class titles, more than any other automaker.
AutoPacific annually surveys new vehicle owners about 49 vehicle attributes. Rather than asking about what has gone wrong with vehicles, the survey takes the pulse of vehicle aspects with which owners are satisfied. The vehicles with the highest satisfaction score are awarded a VSA. After more than 54,000 responses, Nissan came out on top.
So what are the five Nissan models that took home top prizes? For the third straight year, the Nissan Murano won Best in Class Premium Mid-Size Crossover SUV. The Nissan Rogue won Best in Class Mid-Size Crossover SUV for the second year in a row. The Nissan Maxima also repeated as the Best in Class Luxury Mid-Size Car. Coming away with their first VSA trophies, the Nissan Titan won Best in Class Light Duty Pickup, and the Nissan Versa won Best in Class Economy Car.
